Terms of Service

Last updated: June 1, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Zanzo Streaming platform (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you’re agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you’re authorised to bind it.

01

The service

Zanzo provides software that lets conference and festival organisers (“Organisers”) host a branded, gated streaming site for their recorded talks, and sell access to their audience. We provide the platform; the Organiser provides and controls their content, pricing, and audience.

02

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk.

03

Plans, fees & billing

  • → Organisers subscribe to a platform plan (monthly or yearly). Fees, included usage, and overage rates are shown at checkout.
  • → Usage beyond a plan’s included viewer-hours or storage is billed as overage on the next invoice.
  • → We also collect a revenue-share commission on the Organiser’s own ticket/pass sales, as stated on the pricing page.
  • → Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current period.
  • → Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

04

The Organiser is the merchant of record for their sales

When an Organiser sells access to their audience, the Organiser — not Zanzo — is the seller and merchant of record for that transaction. The Organiser is responsible for their pricing, taxes, refunds, consumer-law obligations, and for issuing any invoices to their buyers. Zanzo facilitates payments and may issue invoices on the Organiser’s behalf where configured.

05

Content & intellectual property

  • → Organisers retain all rights to the content they upload, and grant us the limited licence needed to host, transcode, and stream it to their audience.
  • → Organisers represent that they hold all rights and consents (including speaker and music rights) required to stream their content.
  • → Any fonts, images, or other assets uploaded must be properly licensed by the uploader, who accepts responsibility for them.
  • → The Zanzo platform, software, and brand remain our property.

06

Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to infringe others’ rights, distribute unlawful content, attempt to breach security or access controls, scrape or resell the Service, or place unreasonable load on the infrastructure.

07

Availability

We work to keep the Service available and performant but provide it “as is” without an uptime guarantee unless a separate service-level agreement is signed. We may perform maintenance and update features over time.

08

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zanzo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

09

Termination

You can stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.

10

Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state in which Zanzo is established, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Questions: legal@conferencestreaming.eu.
